For some of us, lockdown means we’re spending more time at home, and that we might also have more time on our hands. Here at Twenty11, we’re encouraging our tenants to consider how they might use that time.
This could be starting that hobby you never had time for before or learning a new skill that might help you in your work. For some, it’s about putting to use the skills you have by volunteering and supporting the local community during the crisis. All great things.
We know that some of our tenants are taking the opportunity to consider what they want to do when the crisis is over, and are looking at things such as updating their CVs and training that will enhance what they can offer.
We want to do as much as we can to support this, so as well as being able to put our tenants in touch with a range of partners who can help, we’re also looking at developing our own online platform of training. Four of our tenants have signed up to trial this for us and we’re looking forward to their feedback in the coming weeks – so watch this space.
Our Community Potential Specialists (Matt and Holly) are on hand to support our tenants looking to try something new, and how this might link into their Personal Success Plans. If you’re a tenant and have some ideas on what you want to do but would like some guidance, please get in touch to find out how we can support you to achieve some of your goals.
